‘7am Arivu’, a film that brings together Suriya, A R Murugadoss and Harris Jayaraj after the blockbuster ‘Ghajini’, was launched in Chennai on Saturday. Produced by Udhyanidhi Stalin, the film will have Shruthi Haasan as the heroine.

Expressing happiness that he had completed 25 films, Suriya said, “I used to cry during the initial days of my career because of my inability to act. The people who initially criticised me later turned supportive. And I am here in the industry for the past 15 years.”

Describing ‘7am Arivu’ the next level in his acting career, Suriya said, “Murugadoss has worked on the script for about a year. The film is being produced in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. I am happy to join hands with Udhayanidhi after ‘Aadhavan’.”

Throwing light on the film, Murugadoss said, “All I can say now is that the film has a unique script and will showcase something that has never been attempted before. It will be one of Suriya’s most challenging roles in his career.”

Harris said, “I have a greater responsibility for I have to live up to ‘Ghajini’ expectations. The movie will have catchy songs and music lovers would love it. Efforts are on to have Shruthi sing a song”. Udhayanidhi, Shruthi and cinematographer Ravi K Chandran were also present.
